DVS THROWING PROGRAM

YOU OWN THE GOAL.

DVS GUIDES THE PROGRESSION.

A throwing program that adapts to you every day.

DVS uses your goals, schedule, workload, recovery, and actual throwing to help guide what you should do today—and what comes next.

Know what to throw today. Understand why. Keep progressing tomorrow.

Built for pitchers. Built around performance. Built to adapt.

YOUR THROWING SHOULDN'T START WITH GUESSING.

Every day brings new questions. Your throwing depends on your schedule, workload, recovery, and what you actually did, not just what was on a calendar.

  • I threw hard yesterday. What should I do today?

  • I'm sore. Should I throw?

  • I pitch Saturday. Can I long toss today?

  • When should I get back on the mound?

  • How far should I throw?

  • Am I doing enough to improve?

Most throwing plans tell you what was scheduled for today. DVS helps determine what makes sense today.

YOUR PROGRAM MOVES WHEN YOU DO.

Every throwing day has a purpose. Every completed session helps inform what comes next.

DVS uses your goals, workload, schedule, and recovery to help guide your daily throwing decisions through one simple process.

DVS Baseball authored the DVS Throwing Program in an effort to provide a new standard of distance throwing for baseball players of all ages and ability levels. The throwing program ensures every thrower will effectively train within the constraints of what their body allows, when their body best allows it, therefore facilitating improvements in throwing performance and drastically reducing unnecessary stress on the throwing arm.

The current throwing culture is saturated with velocity enhancement programs and long toss routines that can negatively impact the health of a player. For the last several years, Major League Baseball has seen a dramatic rise in throwing related injuries amongst their players. Many external factors play a role in the health of a player, but unsubstantiated throwing programs continue to spread and increase the risk of baseball players.

The program will feature a built in system of checks and balances a player can use to always understand if their arm is available to tolerate the demands of their specific throwing schedule.
