DVS Baseball authored the DVS Throwing Program in an effort to provide a new standard of distance throwing for baseball players of all ages and ability levels. The throwing program ensures every thrower will effectively train within the constraints of what their body allows, when their body best allows it, therefore facilitating improvements in throwing performance and drastically reducing unnecessary stress on the throwing arm.

The current throwing culture is saturated with velocity enhancement programs and long toss routines that can negatively impact the health of a player. For the last several years, Major League Baseball has seen a dramatic rise in throwing related injuries amongst their players. Many external factors play a role in the health of a player, but unsubstantiated throwing programs continue to spread and increase the risk of baseball players.

The program will feature a built in system of checks and balances a player can use to always understand if their arm is available to tolerate the demands of their specific throwing schedule.
